PASTICHE OF THE DEAD (2008)

ABOUT

PASTICHE OF THE DEAD (2008) is a 9-minute anthology film of short zombie tales, created on a shoe-string budget by a team of amateur filmmakers. Two of the three tales were originally intended for submission into the online Zombie Film Contest, but after reading over the release agreement, the filmmakers decided to keep the footage for themselves and create a short zombie film of their own. Rather than set out to create a masterpiece, the filmmakers attempted to tell a solid story and to have fun, while saving the masterpiece for those with training and expertise.

The end result is a solid collection of zombie tales told in earnest. We hope that you enjoy our modest work.

UPDATE: PASTICHE has been accepted for screening by I-Con XXVII! The film will premiere April 4, 2008 at Stony Brook, NY.
