Photograph Albums - Directors
Directors Clive Barker,
director, writer, artist and my personal hero. Mr. Barker is, of course,
the creator/director of HELLRAISER (1987), NIGHTBREED (1990) and, in my
opinion, one of the best horror films of all, LORD OF ILLUSIONS (1995):
Wes Craven, the director of THE HILLS HAVE EYES (1977), A NIGHTMARE
ON ELM STREET (1984) and SCREAM (1996) :
Italian giallo legend Dario Argento,
director of, among other films, the Three Mothers trilogy: SUSPIRIA
(1977), INFERNO (1980) and MOTHER OF TEARS (2007). George Romero,
American zombie auteur and social satirist, of his landmark series NIGHT
OF LIVING DEAD (1968), DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978), DAY OF THE DEAD (1985),
LAND OF THE DEAD (2005), and DIARY OF THE DEAD (2007): The elusive Tobe Hooper,
director of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) and POLTERGEIST (1982): Don Coscarelli,
director of PHANTASM (1979) and BUBBA HO-TEP (2002). John Landis,
director of the AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and the Michael Jackson
video THRILLER. Mick Garris,
director and creator of the MASTERS OF HORROR TV series. And lastly, David Chase,
director and creator of THE SOPRANOS. (Who said I only watched Horror
films?) This was actually in Chinatown, on location during the filming of
some scenes for the series finale. I was an extra (the scenes were
eventually deleted) but I recognized him and asked him for a quick
